Really listened to my intuition on signing up for this seminar. Went into it with a total open mind and was just amazed at the great community that was formed and knowing AT LAST!!!! I had found the right community for my eating needs. What a joy!
Special thanks to Pilar, Jen and Christy. You guys are the best and really genuine. It's so refreshing to come across such real people!! There is no mistakening the good you are meant to do.
Oh yeah and Dr. Hyman was great too. I'm kinda glad I came into this knowing nothing about his books or media appearances as that sometimes gets in the way. What I came away with is someone interested in delivery his wellness method. Thanks Dr. Mark.

Hi Tony! We're so glad that you listened to your intuition as well. It was great meeting you and we look forward to working with you in the coming weeks. Please let us know if you have any questions or if you come across any ideas that may be helpful to share with the other participants.
I hope the detox portion of the program is continuing to go well and that you are seeing some results in energy and over all well-being. I'll check in with you later!

Like Tony, I would like to thank everybody for their insights.
Profound gratitude to Jen, Pilar, Christy and Dr. Hyman.
It was definitely great to start the detox phase right at Omega; great support system!

Hi Tony and all. I want to thank everyone as well. It was a very informative weekend. It was great to be able to start this process with so much support.
Clarke and I enjoyed a 7 hour trip back to Ottawa. To the person who found my purse, thank you. We weren't too far away when I discovered it missing.
I went out for lunch today and thought I had a really healthy meal but alas felt quite ill afterward so I must be into the detox process and encountered something that now doesn't agree with me.
I jogged with the heart rate monitor on Monday. I do not think that the 220 minus age formula works for everyone.
Pat

Pat - wondering if you'd be able to share in a bit more detail as to what you are experiencing with your heart rate training. We'd like to be able to help you sort it out. If so, please visit the heart rate training section that's been set up in our private forum. Thank you! Christy

It was SO great to meet you all -- I'm still buzzing from the great energy of the weekend, and I'm looking forward to staying in touch via this forum.
(Pat, you're spot-on about the Max HR formula -- just answered your question in the HR thread.)

Hi Everyone!
I want to add my heartfelt (and is gutfelt a word?!) thanks to those in these messages. I went to the workshop expecting great information, and hopefully some motivation which I so abundantly received and am so grateful for. But the additional sense of inspiration and even the feeling of kindness and love from so many people, but especially the presenters was amazing and I am especially appreciative for that spirit. Awesome teachers and coaches!
Jen, buzzing from the energy is a good way of putting it!
I am feeling very good this week, much better than the week before the workshop when my head and gut were aching quite often. I'm staying with the detox diet as closely as I can (think there was butter on the veg side at a restaurant the other night, oops) and I have lost 5-6 lbs which is quite welcome too!
I'm going to read some more postings.
Thanks and love,
Ginger
ps Glad that Pat recovered her purse easily! Christy sprinted down the hill to try to catch up, and didn't see you so left it at the office.
